Five Things To Stay Away From While On a Date. 1. Competitive activity. A Date is not the time to judge yourself, your previous lover, your failures, with his or hers. 2. Skill. Having to project your skill at being a good partner is too much consideration and it will manifest. 3. Chance. Remember you chose to be on this date. Ultimately, there's no chance involved. 4. Endurance. A date isn't a contest to find out who will last the longest at being entertaining or intelligent. 5. Rules. Rules set in stone become a choking point for possibility. Five Things To DO When Dating. 1. Play. Although these might seem simple, I'll bet many of you don't look at dating as a playful exercise. Remember a time when you were the carefree child playing in the sand? How perfect was that? Not a care in the world, no one to prove yourself to. Simply muddy fun! Look for ways to approach your date with having fun as a first priority. Even if the person on the other side of the table is a serious type. Make the game of the night to find fun. You don't have to see him or her again if they can't play and have fun. Using the Law of Attraction is amazingly helpful for Relationship Attraction, and it's not difficult to understand. 2. Laugh. A cousin to Play, laughing is the most infectious way to spread joy. Before going on any date, especially the first date, remind yourself that you will meaningfully search for a reason to feel good and laugh. Smile as much as possible. At the waitress or waiter, at the host. Or smile for no reason. 3. Listen. This is one of the most significant ways to connect with your date. Meaningful listening is when you shut off the voices in your mind and really listen to what the person across the table is saying. Granted, the critic in your head will probably be desiring to chime in for many reasons. You do not like the manner in which he eats his soup. She's always playing with her hair. Stuff like that are simply distracting from the main purpose. Just realize you are being distracted and pull yourself back into the present. To reiterate, you do not need to see them again. This is an important practice, however, and it's an intimacy builder. You'll want to use this practice in your extended relationship, so why not get your practice in now. By the way, you do not need to listen just in the dating realm. You can create your own Law of Attraction Love right now and sky-rocket your level of positive energy! 4. Eye Contact. Don't simply make eye contact and bob your head. Practice deep listening whilst maintaining eye contact. Practicing this is a wonderful display of your own generosity. And I can promise you, that generosity will come back to you. If you need the support of a Law of Attraction Coach, by all means get support! Having an independent listener to talk to will help you move off outdated patterns much more quickly. 5. Communicate. When it's your time to talk, strive for clarity and being heard. As you've given your time to your date, desire the same. You haven't interrupted him or her while he or she has been talking. If an interruption happens, ask for the same manners. You can be polite and nice about this without turning it into a problem. Just nicely ask for what you'd like. Feeling confident with what you want takes much pressure off your date. You leave them firmly knowing what you want. It does not matter if you're twenty-five or seventy-five dating - simply enjoy life - if viewed as a fun game, where there are no losers, your date will function much more smoothly for everyone.
